Frequently Asked Questions
- What is error correction and which level should I use?
- Error correction allows QR codes to be read even when partially damaged. Level L recovers from 7% damage, M from 15%, Q from 25%, and H from 30%. Higher levels create denser codes. Use M for most cases. Use H if the code will be printed on surfaces that may get scratched or dirty.
- Can I use custom colors in my QR code?
- Yes. You can set both the foreground and background colors using the color pickers. Make sure there is enough contrast between the two colors for scanners to read the code reliably. Dark foreground on light background works best.
