- Does converting between formats lose quality?
- Converting to a lossy format (JPEG, WebP) involves some quality reduction, controlled by the quality slider. Converting to PNG is lossless — no quality is lost. Converting from a lossy format cannot restore previously lost quality.
- What happens to transparency when converting?
